• I adapted the Hero theme to create this website (www.art4refugees.org.au) but realised I had updated the theme CSS and not created a child theme.

So I’ve created a child theme with all the relevant changes and reinstalled the original Hero theme to ensure everything is working smoothly, which it all is apart from two small issues!

    1) I have two more navigation menu items after Contact us (both external links) that seem to have disappeared despite still being listed in my Dashboard. They were showing up before. Any ideas what I need to change?

    2) One of these links (the last one) is to the ART4refugees Facebook page. Is there an easy way I can replace the text with a social media icon instead?

    Thanks for your help!

One more bug… while my child style.css is being recognised and working ok, changes to the nivo-slider.css and superfish.css are not. Have tried including them as separate files and now in the style.css code but either way, they’re not showing up.

Trying to change the hover colour on the nav menu and the slider buttons to orange.
