• I’m using the Raindrops theme and I can’t get it to hold many of the settings when I customize it. It’ll preview the changes, but as soon as you reload the page, it goes back to the previous default settings.

    Before reviewing the edited page, have you tried flushing any caching plugins you might be running, as well as server and/or browser caches. Not just your browser, but any op cache or content network cache as well such as Cloudflare. If your host provider has a “Purge Varnish” option or if you can ask your provider to flush memcache on your server.

    I have the same issue since the 4.7 with all Themes I tried. In the theme customizer you see the changes but after “Save & Publish” they are not activated and re-opening the Theme Customizer shows the old settings.

    In the wp_posts table there are additional entries of type “customize_changeset” for every try.
