• Hi,
I am new to wordpress, but I am already trying to modify themes to meet my needs.
I am currently struggling with a ‘twentyeleven’-child theme named “Hum”. I downloaded it via wordpress and I’ve bumped into a problem. My page looks like this: Page screenshot.

The problem is that I cannot get the white background of the content-area to reach the right edge of the screen. It seems like there an area, somewhere in the code, that keeps this part occupied.
This is the theme as it currently is coded on my computer. Could anyone please look into this and guide me to the error I am referring to?

Thank you very much in advance!
    Regards,
    Firiat

  • Thanks a lot for sharing the code of your theme, it look clean and very well organized, however maybe would be a bit easier to spot the problematic area in the CSS, looking your site and testing changes with Firebug in the client side, than:

    1. hacking/reading the whole code of the theme,
    2. checking it against the dependencies in 2011,
    3. uploading the whole theme and activating in a site just for testing.

I mean, you have done already all the three steps before, and in the end, many of us would end hacking with Firebug (or something alike), the HTML/CSS your code is returning to the browser.

You could try using Firebug, or helping us help you spot the bit missing in CSS.

I am sorry, I didn’t mean to imply that anyone should hack/read the entire code for me. I was just hoping that someone knew more about the twentyeleven theme and could point me in the right direction.
