theme images not showing up

It could be many reasons. Can you share a link to your site? That often helps identify what/where the problem is.

I am using XAMMP , so there is no website online there. i just can take screen shot but here , i see there is no chance to share the screen shot.

I will be appropriated if you know how to fix it.

Jan, thanks for chipping in. Any chance this can be moved to support? Checking the other threads started by this member, you can tell that he’s had the same problem with other themes.

“young G”, there’s nothing wrong with the theme and the way it displays images. Besides, the theme doesn’t use any presentational images and content images are shown the same way they are in any WordPress theme. Post thumbnails shown above posts in archives are added using Featured Image WordPress feature.

I doubt anyone will be able to help you without being able to see the problem and would appreciate if you could post a support request instead of a review for an issue that most likely has absolutely nothing to do with the theme. Thanks.

Yeah , i Have the same problem with some other themes but with some themes everything are fine.

So, because of a problem you have with your WordPress install you felt that it was appropriate to give the theme a one star rating? Without even checking if we could help you fix the problem you have first?

I have this problem for one week , i did not mean to be rude for your great job man . I just needed some attention to find out this problem that i mostly have with other themes as well as this theme.

You’ll have to try to be more specific with your images issue, because honestly I still don’t understand what you meant.

I believe you can go up an edit the rating but to be honest I’ve never tried myself…

You see the Rabit photo on the home page of your theme , it does not show up when i activate this theme and also the small box on the right side of theme. so the structure of the home page is messed up . One again , i confess the problem is not because of this theme , i have the same problem with other themes as well .

The images you’re referring to are our own images we used in theme demo. They are not a part of the theme. That’s how WordPress works, there’s a clear separation between theme and content.

You will need to upload your own images to posts:

And then for them to appear above the post box you’d have to assign an image to be Featured Image (Post Thumbnail) for that post:

For some themes , i see the exact images and contents and headings and exact structure and for others Not.

it is not just about images , for example , it all works perfectly with Theme called “blackbird” .

I don’t think you can upload one here, perhaps you can find an online image hosting service and upload it there, then post a link here.

But I did understand what you mean and explained you what it is about. You expect installing a theme to add content to your WordPress installation and that’s not how it works. Theme and content are, and always should be 100% independent of each other.
