theme installation tracking – are you ok with themes calling home?

I realized that a theme I installed (vantage) is calling two JS files. First of all, these take forever to load and thus slow down my overall pageload, secondly, but much more importantly, the theme author doesn’t disclose that he’s tracking the installs.
