theme integration does not work

    Right from the start I used sunshine with my own theme. It worked like a charm. Unfortunately for no apparent reason, a few days ago all galleries disappeared and could not longer be reached. I then changed to the sunshine standard layout and the galleries could be accessed again, but the benefit of my own layout and marketing was gone (deal breaker). Any ideas on this? My uneducated guess would be it has to do with a wordpress update…

    If galleries could not be reached, it may not be a theme issue but permalinks issue. Go back to using your theme. Then go to Settings > Permalinks and just resave (don’t need to change anything).

    I did. But the problem persists. Any other ideas?

    There may be a conflict with something else. Disable all non-Sunshine plugins and use a default WordPress theme. Enable them back one by one until the problem comes back and then we know the culprit and can go from there.
