Theme interfering with Jetpack plugin

    It seems the theme is interfering with the “Jetpack” plugin of the website somehow.

    The “Widget Cookies & Consent Banner” is installed in the website, which is part of the plugin, and it is showing in all the pages but in the homepage. I deactivated the theme with the “Health Check & Troubleshooting” plugin leaving all the plugins activated and it worked, the banner was visible in the homepage too.

    I talked to the support team of the plugin and the suggested to contact the theme developers.

    Do you have any suggestions about how to fix it?

    Thanks for reporting this problem.
    I’ll check if I can reproduce it on a test site, and isolate a possible collision between the theme and Jetpack cookie consent.

    I just tested the cookie consent Jetpack widget on a test site with the Customizr theme and it worked fine, also on home page.
    A possible cause of your issue could be that you inserted the widget in the left sidebar. Because your home page doesn’t display this sidebar, the widget wouldn’t be printed. However, on all other pages of your website, the left sidebar is printed which would explained why it worked on all pages but home.

    A solution would be to insert the widget in a footer widget location instead of a sidebar, this way it would work on all pages.

    By the way, during my tests I discovered a bug with Jetpack cookie consent widget that should be reported to @automattic developers. ( Config => WP 5.8 + Jetpack 10.0 + TT1 theme latest version, PHP8, no other plugin active ).
    Here’s the problem : once inserted in a widget location, the widget rendering disappears. Refreshing the customizer doesn’t solve the problem, which makes it impossible to find back if you need to modify it.
    The trick is to mouse hover the location where it was added before and click on a blank space to edit it.
