Theme is not displayed as in the demo.

  • Installed and activated Sydney Free theme and plugins for it, Elementor and Sydney Toolbox. But the theme is not displayed as in the demo. It only displays Hello World page.

  • Themes are no longer allowed to provide demo / starter content (because a few others included some spammy links), so your new site would not look like the demo.

    Theme authors are supposed to use “sane defaults”, so setting up your new theme should not be too onerous.
    That having been said, some themes are aimed at more advanced users – and that is fine too.

    First read any documentation that your theme provides.
