@michbear71 Don’t send users to that topic, it just encourages people to pile on and that’s not how these forums work.
I’ve archived that conversation. If you want top help them please reply here in this topic.
This was your now archived reply text.
First, this is contingent on having used a backup service for your site. I use Updraft. The first thing I did was log into my hosting site (HostGator) and went to my file manager. Then I went to my main home folder and found and opened the folder public_html. Next go to the folder wp-content and then into the folder called themes. I found the natural-lite folder and renamed it to natural-lite2. Then I went and logged into the dashboard of my site. When the site was unable to find the theme called natural lite, it defaulted back to the original theme. Then I used Updraft and restored my site to the time just before I updated the theme. Updraft allowed me to restore only the themes. I am not sure if other backup will let you do this.
Once I competed the restore, everything worked fine. As a test, I updated again to make sure that the update to 1.4.6 was indeed the issue and I confirmed that it was. I restored again though I had to go back one more day.
So far no issues with my site and as of now, no response from Organic Themes though I did receive a solicitation email asking me to buy their themes for Black Friday/Cyber Monday. I found that extremely funny for some reason.
I hope this helps others until Organic Themes fixes this issue.
Which is a good reply from you. ??
