[Theme: Lazy Sunday] Probably not your theme but maybe you can help..

  • I’ve been working on a new site and have tried to move it to a new host’s subdomain for a trial. So I’ve had lots of problems, being somewhat new with WordPress.

    Your theme is unique in the way it displays categories, using the images, so where do these images come from?..I really like this feature.

    My question is this:

    This link displays the photos for the blog entries-

    Good Link

    This link (the new host) does not –

    Bad Link

    Can you give me a clue why that might be….I’ve updated the database for the new url.

    You can set a featured image for each post by editing the post and using the Set Featured Image link to the right. I recommend this method because you get to choose what image to display.

    If you don’t set a featured image, the theme will attempt to pull the first attached image for that post. You can find attached images by going to the Media Library directly, or by editing a post, going to the Upload Media area, then looking for the Gallery tab. If there is no Gallery tab, there are no attached images for that post.

    It’s possible when you switched hosts the image attachments or featured images didn’t stick. You probably need to go in and reset a featured image for each post.
