i’m new to wordpress, so my question is probably laughably simple to the experienced moderators out there, so i apologize in advance if it is…

My WordPress Dashboard/Appearance/Editor option easily gives me the style.css coding to edit.

I can’t seem to find a way to access and edit the xhtml code that pops up when you view the site’s page source in a browser.

there are some html edits that i’ve found on these forums, that i would like to add to my website

I’m assuming this is somewhere other than the WordPress Dashboard?

(my site is https://www.inadvertentarchitecture.com and i’ve installed the Autofocus theme.)

    thank you

  • While on the page where you can edit your stylesheet (CSS) look over to the right. There’s a column there headed “Theme Files”. Click one and it will be pulled into the editor. Those themes are assembled to create what you see in your browser.
