    Hi there,

I’m using Theme My Login, ran through the setup very quickly to add to the registration page. The checkbox and link agreeing to terms and conditions is placed after the ‘user’ ’email’ fields and before the ‘password’ and ‘confirm password’ (and recaptcha and register now button).

How do I get it to be placed after the ‘password’ and ‘confirm password’ fields?

    Cheers :))

There’s another issue as well –
I have checked registration form only from where should it be displayed (login is unchecked) yet when a user tries to login the return message is please agree to our terms and conditions – and nowhere to check so they end up in a loop to nowhere and not being able to login.

Thanks for the heads up! Did you add any fields to your registration form? That’s my first thought for why it’s not putting it in the right place, and if so, then I can test that scenario ??

No custom fields added anywhere to anything. I have since installing this plugin (and then deactivating) done some styling on the registration and login forms – changing the pretty pink and yellow colors on TML’s pop up message boxes only. A number of the other supplied forms (your profile etc) have had to be restyled via css to get consistent fonts/font size.

Thanks for the update, expect a fix in the next few hours…

Okay my friend, the login issues should be fixed with the latest update. Is the theme you’re working with custom, or is it one you purchased? I haven’t been able to duplicate the field placement issue on my end, but if I had a better idea of what your theming situation was like I could get closer to figuring that out ??

    Thanks!

I am using woothemes canvas and woocommerce.

Okay thanks I’ll install those and do more testing ??

BTW if you get a chance would you be able to take a screenshot and link it in a reply so I can make sure I’m seeing the same thing?

    Thanks so much!

I don’t own a copy of the Canvas theme, but I’d guess that’s the deal with the positioning of the fields- it probably floats some fields over which messes with the order. Could you link me to your login page so I can check the markup?

I have a stinking great ‘coming soon’ note on the front of it, you will need to login if I can send you a note privately I’m more than happy for you to take a look.

    Absolutely, send it over!

Thought I’d update you – I’ve given up with Theme my Login, I am having some other issues with it that mean I won’t be using it. Will still need to use your plugin but on hold until I get the new one installed and working.

Gotcha, just let me know how everything goes ??

I have a terms and conditions page and a registration page. I am looking for the ability to add a agree to terms and conditions check box on the registration page. I do not require a user login, I just require that there is a registration for my newsletter and other information that I send out. I noticed that there is a short code for registration, will this provide me with what I need.

My site is: https://www.mac-doc.net and email is [email protected]

Any help would be deeply appreciated.
