• Hello,

I’m running wp 1.5.2 but originally installed 1.5.1.2, and I did try to search for this …

When I first installed WP, and used the default theme, the theme name became automatically changed to the name of my blog, indeed a complete copy of the theme folder was created, named “blogname”. Is this normal?

Okay, later I customized the theme, and gave it my own name (both it’s folder and stylesheet entry) and everything works fine. Except, under Admin > Manage > Files it’s still trying to find files in the path wp-content/themes/blogname/ – which no longer exists.

Where did I go wrong? And can I flush out the old theme references?

    Thanks!

  • “Is this normal?” – Yes. It is now default behaviour.

“And can I flush out the old theme references?” – change to Classic.
Then delete any themes you do not want (back them up) then go back to Presentation.
