Theme name/path

  • Hi there,

    did everything that was explained in the many threads about the topic of renaming a theme, however, it does not work:

    Theme A should be renamed to B:
    – changed in style.cc the theme name
    – changed the theme folder through FTP
    However, the theme still tries to access e.g. images in the path /A/images/ rather than in the new path /B/images/

    Obviously I am missing something. But what?

    It does work. I’ve done this many, many, times without the slightest problem.

    I’m sorry but your chosen theme is not released under GPL and is not welcome here. Official WordPress policy states that all plugins and themes that are publicly released are required to adhere to https://www.ads-software.com/about/gpl/

    I would also strongly recommend that you read this article and consider changing to a theme from a reputable source asap.

    Thanks, however the theem is from one of the largest sources of WP themes world wide.

    The largest source of quality, free, themes is https://www.ads-software.com/themes/

    That particular theme supplier is known for making copies of genuine free themes, adding their own spam links and lord knows what else and then releasing them as their own themes. Did you even bother reading the page I linked to above.
