Theme: New Media; Lost Formatting

  • Working with a theme called NewMedia, my website of 2 months has been developing very nicely.

    However, when logging into my dashboard yesterday, I noticed that the formatting (double spacing between paragraphs) in all of my posts disappeared. Next, in the theme sidebar where I’ve listed my contact information, an e-mail address that was once on one line now appears on two.

    I did install a LinkedIn plug-in yesterday. Thinking that might have caused the problem, I deleted it. Nothing changed. Also yesterday, I updated Akismet. I only mention these items to provide as much information as possible.

    My iPage support person was as helpful as could be. Ultimately, he said I’d have to contact the theme developer. He didn’t know what the problem could be.

    After asking for help yesterday through www.ads-software.com/themes/NewMedia, I received one e-mail (I don’t think it was from the theme developer). The individual asked me some questions. I responded. So far, I’ve heard nothing else.

    Really…what does a person do when they can’t get help from the person who created the theme? Give them a bad rating and go to another theme after many hours of work?
