Theme not installing

    Also I already tried messing with permissions and PHP safe_mode is set to off

    the dashboard uploader (?) does not seem to be the right method;

    try using ftp;

    or inquire at themeforest on how to install their themes.

    I am running my own web server. When you say FTP do you mean just move the zipped files over to the themes directory? If so, I have alreay tried to no avail

    if you have a local server on your computer (?) simply copy the unzipped folder into the theme folder /wp-content/themes/

    the exact prodedure depends on the zipped folder structure – and for this, as this is a commercial theme, do ask the theme vendor for support.

    apart from pointing you to the general instructions, such as https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Themes, which you hopefully have read, there is not much anyone from this forum can do to help.
