    Hi
I saw the below query on another forum and it is EXACTLY my problem – word for word. However, the advice was to go to appearance>mobile and click “no”. But my appearance menu does not have a “mobile” option. Incidentally, I laughed my site with WordPress.com, but apparently now it’s .org. I didn’t do this intentionally – so assume it’s because I uploaded Yoast SEo or Jetpack? This was to forward posts to a Facebook page

    Please can someone advise?

    Many Thanks in advance

[[ I took a look at my site on my phone last night, and realized that the theme I have in place (and have had for many months) is no longer showing up. All my content is correct, but the theme looks like a standard WordPress theme, as opposed to the one I’m supposed to have on my site (Sela Theme). When I check my settings, everything appears correct.

I have no idea how long it’s been like this, since I haven’t checked my site from my phone in a while, but has this ever happened to anyone else? And how do I fix it!]]

The blog I need help with is https://www.fortysomethingcreative.com.

  • Hello, you probably have the Jetpack mobile theme enabled. To disable it go to Jetpack -> Settings and there’s an option under Theme enhancements to enable/disable the mobile theme.

As for the start of your post about WordPress.com and .org you lost me there I didn’t understand what the question is to help out.

You’ve installed Jetpack and activated it’s Mobile Theme (or maybe it’s on by default, I’m not sure). You can turn it off in Jetpack > Settings > Writing > Theme Enhancements > Enable the Jetpack Mobile theme.

Hi both and many thanks for your replies.

I initially posted this question on WordPress.com and was told that I had a www.ads-software.com site and to ask there? When I look at my site it flips between both (obviously I’m not remotely techie so apologies in advance for sounding clueless – I am!)

Anyway, I did what you both suggested and it worked!

Thanks very much for your speedy replies.

    Have a good day

It’s not flipping between .com and .org. You have a .org site, but I think some of the confusion is because the Jetpack plugin is developed by the people at WordPress.com, and adds many features from WordPress.com onto a .org site, including the ability to log in with a .com account.

Frankly, since the mobile theme is a Jetpack feature from WordPress.com, they should have helped you.

Glad we could help @40somecreator . Don’t forget to mark the topic as resolved!
