Theme Options Are Blank

  • I have been using the Virtue theme for a long time.

    Suddenly, when I go to Appearance > Theme Options, I can see the theme option menus but nothing displays. If I click on any of the theme option menu choices, nothing displays in the main window so I cannot change anything about the website.

    How do I correct this when I haven’t had any prior problems with the theme?

  • Are you up to date? like do you have version 2.2.4 installed?

    If so, try installing this plugin: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/redux-framework/

    If that doesn’t work then you would need to check your php settings. It possible you just need to increase your max php memory setting in the php.ini server file.

    Running version 2.2.5.

    I installed the plugin and it didn’t change anything. Theme Options still display nothing in the main window.

    Any other options? I would rather not change themes.

    Did you check your PHP memory settings as @Kadence Themes suggested?

    Not sure where to go to find it, nor do I know what I am looking for.

    When I go into the Editor, the closest file I see is an init.php file. Is that the right one?

    It wouldn’t be in your WordPress directory. You’ll have to ask your hosting company where it’s located.

    @melito75 what plugins are you running? Are you using woocommerce?

    If you are you can click “system status” and it will say what your max php memory limit is.

    Have you tried deactivating your plugins?

    Had the same problem and deactivating my plugins worked.. just a hassle, but at least it works! Love the Theme Kadence!!
