Theme Options – Save & Publish – Your session has expired. Please log-in again

I have encountered a problem repeatedly on a variety of themes. It only happens when using the theme options section and when you are tying to click the save & publish button. An infinite login loop occurs that says ‘Your session has expired. Please log-in again.’ After you login, it pauses, then reloads with the same message.

I have yet to figure out a solution, and never needed to until today. The theme “Bones” has removed the setting from Reading which allows you to choose a static or posts home page. Instead the setting is only in the theme options, bad idea. I can set the theme to static, but it will not let me choose the page to use as static because of the login loop.

I am going to ask the theme creators also for help.

Any insight as to why this happens would be appreciated.
