Theme page display problems-theme help needed please

    My WPTheme >>chessDesign1<< has display issues.
    It can be seen on my chessblog at

    I based the theme on WP-Naked framework and of course I am a novice at WP theme creating and I would greatly appreciate help to fix this theme please.

    Firstly the navbar in IE displays at double width to normal (it displays fine in FireFox). Later I would like to recode the navbar to allow the pagelinks to be bigger/standout more too.

    Next the index/home page displays fine both in IE and in Firefox but none of the other pages display properly. The sidebar and section are not correctly positioned (same when viewing comments).

    I have tried to fix/alter page.php and single.php but I haven’t fixed it! I will continue to try to fix these page issue problems but I really could do with help and advice so I know what to do/what the problem is and how to fix these issues!!

    Of course I am willing to post here any code that maybe needed but as yet I do not know what specific code I ought to post here that needs editing!

    Is there anyone here? I have had no reply yet to my initial post.
    I have kept trying to fix my theme but with no success yet.

    If there is anyone on this forum I would be grateful for a helpful reply to try to fix my theme problems (as I have stated in my previous post).
    I have been trying to get everything to work and both in IE & Firefox but I still have issues with the navbar and pages display both in IE and Firefox.

    Can anyone please try & help me fix my theme problems and get my site to work properly? I look forward to any helpful replies, many thanks

    Managing a wordpress website is not easy and some answers cannot be found in docs despite the large amount of information in the codex…

    I shall not give up (yet) on managing my WordPress websites.
