Theme Previews – sample content?

  • I’ve seen quite a few people who set up separate WordPress installations to give readers live previews of their own themes, and these installations contain sample content that looks like that in the WordPress Theme Viewer.

    I would like to set up such a blog when I end up releasing my first theme. Is there some package that comes with all the sample content or do I have to manually write it all?

  • I’ve actually often wondered about that myself, having written most of the original content for the theme viewer a long, long time ago. I keep seeing the same image [those glasses on a piece of text] and thinking to myself, why not change it to something better now?

    Anyway, I digress.

    I think they must simply copy it into their posts. It saves having to think of new stuff I guess and often when you create themes, by the time you get around to adding new content, you have had enough and just want to get it released. Copying makes it easy.

    I would also like to know if there is any package with sameple content
