Theme Recommendation for CMS with lost of categories and masses of content.

Hi guys could anyone help me with some suggestions for a theme for my site. I will be using WP as an cms. I have been looking at some of the magazine and newspaper themes. In particular these 2

My site is sports based and is about fishing. I have a lot of categories (roughly 12) which in turn each have sub categories and a lot of articles in each.

I need a theme that will showcase my content on the homepage. It should then have landing pages for each category. Each landing page should showcase all the articles in that category. I would like the sidebar content to relate specifically to the current category.

I quite like the newspaper theme I mentioned above but it does look quite busy and the category pages are not quite what I want as I want the category pages to be also like the homepage.

The star magazine theme has nice category pages but doeant quite do show enough information on the homepage.

Any theme I use should be seo friendly. I have alittle knowledge of tweaking themes but not enough for any major overhauls.

Can anyone recommend any other themes I should be looking at (Keeping in mind my requirements) or maybe you could advise on a theme developer who may be able to help out.
