• When installing this plugin on my multisite network and using to link from my sub-site (experts.myenclave.com) to my main-site (myenclave.com) there is an issue. It appears to create a new account for the user visiting the main site, however, it displays an error that the registration has not been accepted yet. When I attempt the opposite; logging from myenclave.com to the sub-domain it does not appear to do anything.

My support team at WPMUDEV looked into the issue and determined there may be a conflict between this plugin and the user registration/login framework used by one or both of my themes.

    1. Are you aware of any conflicts that occur with websites which use themes that use their own login systems?

    2. Are they any changes or settings that can be adjusted to possibly get this to work?

    3. Can you provide any support for setting this up with my site?

Any support will be greatly appreciated!

Anything, theme or plugin, that subverts the default WordPress login and registration process is likely to have issues. And isn’t supported :/

    Yes, this means EVEN BuddyPress.

I can take a look and see if it’s something obvious, but I can’t offer a promise that it will be fixable. What theme is this?

It’s probably best JMM be used as a ‘Join if you’re logged in’ thing, versus a ‘Sign up on this site’ one if you have a custom signup page.

Thanks for such a quick reply.

The Theme on myenclave.com is HomeVillas by ChimpStudios
The theme on experts.myenclave.com is FreelanceEngine by EngineStudios

The plugin is currently deactivated within the network now. Should I network activate it again before you look at things?

No. I’ll poke around and see what I can figure out on an clean site and not yours.

Ok I will not hold you to anything but I really appreciate your eagerness to help…as a newbie to wordpress I have found there to be lots of integration errors that sometimes are hard to resolve when there is a different theme developer then the plugin developer. Let me know if providing you admin access or anything like that would help.

So there are some issues it looks like with ChimpStudios. The social logins are going to go ‘around’ the normal WP one, which means registration via my plugin won’t play well ??

I wasn’t able to find FreelanceEngine by EngineStudios. Actually I can’t even find EngineStudios… Do you have a link to their site?
