[Theme: Responsive] Placeholder not working except in IE

As my topic title, the placeholder doesn’t working except in IE. I use Responsive theme v. 1.7.2.
When I click on text box the cursor will blinking but the default text doesn’t dissapear. But when i typed any letter, textbox will clear. Why is that possible?
