    Dear Sir,

I have received the “broken site” result when testing my https://anatomika.net/

The reasons are: “Your page doesn’t include a <html> element” + “Your blog doesn’t advertise an XML feed.”

I’ve been working on the new theme (“Responsive”). I was testing it and it worked ok then I activated it instead of “Artfull” theme.

As the error ocurred I decided to move back to the previous theme.

I wonder if the problem may be caused by the “super caché”, it’s that possible?

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Best regards,

  • Hi,

Not sure what kind of “problem” you have, but no the Theme does not break ??

Doctype you’re looking for is most likely HTML4 and that’s obsolete by many Themes. Responsive uses HTML5

    <!doctype html>

    Here’s the Theme demo: https://themeid.com/demo/responsive/
and XML feed as well: https://themeid.com/demo/responsive/feed/

I would recommend to check all of your plugins, upgrade some if there’s need for that and make sure that every one of them is compatible with the version of WordPress that your’re using.

If there’s anything else please let me know. We also have full blown support forum at https://themeid.com/forum

    Hi Emil.
    Thanks for your feedback.
As I could not manage the child theme tool (I’m a freelance journalist), I copied the theme in a different file with a different name in order to avoid the automatically upgrading.
I did the changes on the css and phps and it worked very good. I like the theme very much. But it seems that I have broke some of your design as I received that error message when tested the site.
I tried on different terminals as the theme worked fine on mine, but in other pcs the result was a weird code screen.
    Thank you for your time.

    Hi,

This is very, very simple: https://themeid.com/forum/topic/505/child-theme-example/ download and upload to WordPress and voila, you’re done, Child Theme can be installed in one minute. When you do this everything will be 100% protected against the upgrades.

    Thanks,
    Emil

    Hello Emil,
I am afraid that I needed to edit some of the php files, and for sure I tried the childtheme but I gave up.
One thing is true, the Responsive theme is interesting and it made me learn new things on css and php editing.
    Thank you for your time.

    Hi,

Custom design will most definitely require HTML/PHP skills. If interesting we have Developers and you can hire one of them to give you a hand as well: https://themeid.com/responsive-developers/

    Good Luck!

    Hi,
By the second week of working with the theme, I tried to contact you through your forum, I filled the form and sent a request for a budget and conditions but I didn’t get an answer – maybe I did it wrong. This is why I ended up in this forum.

    Thank you for your time.

    All the best,
    Rye.

Yes sir, got the e-mail on May 29th and responded as well. Just did it once again please let me know if you got it. Since we’re handling this off support forum, can you please close as [resolved]?

    Thanks,
    Emil
