[Theme: Retro Portfolio] Duplicate Theme Homepage On Multiple Pages
-
I’m trying to create a site that I will use as an online resume, and I want to replicate the layout of the theme’s homepage onto successive pages. The reason behind it is to have a tailored resume page for each company that I plan on approaching. I’m using the Retro Portfolio theme.
I’ve been able to use the Theme File Duplicator plugin to copy the index.php as a template for the new pages, but when I update the main homepage of the site, all the other pages duplicated off of the index.php template also update with it.
Is there a way to prevent the new template pages from updating with the homepage? Or is there an easier way to go about this all altogether? A child theme crossed my mind, but I can’t see how that would resolve it either. I only know HTML and CSS, as well. The ultimate goal is to have multiple resume pages that have the same layout and that I can tweak the content for each company I’m targeting.
Thanks.
