I understand that Sela has not been accepted into the www.ads-software.com theme directory yet, and that may be the root cause of the issue.

We have Sela installed on a self-hosted site. I can’t share the page because Coming Soon Mode is active, but it’s a long-established site on which my boss recently uploaded Sela as a new theme.

At the moment, I see no option in the Dashboard for Testimonials and no option under Customization for the Site Logo. (These features are available in the .com version of the theme as described here: https://theme.wordpress.com/themes/sela/)

So, the questions:

– Is there some way to activate these features right now?

– If not (i.e., they are simply not available at this time), will these features become available when the theme is accepted into the .org themes directory?

Testimonials and Site Logo on Sela requires the Jetpack by WordPress.com plugin. Do you have that plugin installed and connected to WordPress.com?

Ah ha! No, we did not have Jetpack installed, but now we do.

michala007 – testimonials require the Jetpack plugin’s Custom Content Types module, as you must have discovered since I see them active on your site, along with the front page widgets. It looks good! Are you all set?

Hi Kathryn

Thank you so much for the reply! I managed to get the front page working but I am struggling to get the ‘Front Page Title Box’ smaller and if possible more ‘see-through’ so it does not obstruct the main image on the front page. Is there anything I can do for this?

Something like this should get you started:

```
You can change the values of everything as you like.

Complete novice. Cant get the testimonials on the front page. already downloaded jetpack but cant see a plug in option on the dashboard to install it.
