Theme: Shuttershot (differen colors for each navigation)

  • Hi everyone,

    I am kind of new guy on cms. I installed Shuttershot theme on my wordpress and I made 4 navigation labels for my menu. I would like to make the navigation labels to be in different colors, when they are on hover – active function. In the style.css document it is only possible to change the color for all navigation labels during active hover .

    This is page menu CSS from style.css document.

    What code I should write or change in order to make different navigation labels in different colors?

    You’ll need to assign a class to each menu item. You can do this by going to Appearance => Menu. Up in the right corner of the screen, click on Screen Options. Turn on CSS Classes. You’ll see a new box in each menu item – CSS Classes. Assign a unique class to each menu item – like red-menu, blue-menu, etc.

    Use the new classes in conjunction with the existing CSS to set the background color.
