• Hi There,

Our website is using the Fashionista theme and it looks terrible under IE 8. Under Chrome, Firefox and IE 10 it is fine. Is there any way we can improve this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The think is that you need to work on css files for IE8 cause it is quite old browser version.
1). You can update your browser (or ask your visitor to update it) ??
2). Fix it by fixing css for IE8

I think the problem is that not everyone knows how to fix CSS for IE8. Surprisingly… the main reason why people choose to use WordPress is because you don’t have to be a developer to use it.

It would be great if theme developers were able to provide resources, guidance or even support in this area for the non-developers using their themes.

    Try a CSS forum:

It would be great if theme authors did all of that, but I don’t think it’s the role of the theme author to teach this to us.

I have similar problem when viewing on IE8. Some of the icons went missing, and getting javascript error on some of the posts. Can someone enlighten me on what the problem is regarding css?

I am now closing this 9 month old topic as it references an older version of WordPress.
