[Theme: Sunspot] Child menu not compatible

Me too! Even in Firefox. I absolutely love the look of this theme, but it is completely useless to me without functioning child menus. Help!

I’m having this problem also. I assume “child menus” are the same as submenus. The submenus work fine in FireFox on a Windows 7 machine, but not in the same version of FireFox on an XP machine. Works OK in IE 8 on the XP machine, though.

Do you guys still have this issue in IE9? I can’t reproduce the issue as it’s described here. I’ll mark this as resolved for now but please let me know if you still see the issue after upgrading to the latest version.

I decided against using Sunspot for this and other reasons, so I have not tested the upgraded version. However, I recently ran into the same issue with another theme (Clear Retina), and was able to resolve it by increasing the padding on the nav menu list items. This enlarges the clickable area for the link. Don’t know if that’s the solution that was reached in the Sunspot upgrade, but thought I would post it here for anyone else who encounters this problem.

I downloaded this theme at wordpress. com. I know here you’re discussing on .org themes, but couldn’t find a forum for this theme on wordpress.com support. I love this theme, but can’t work with the slide-out child menus, same problem as the others, as I point them child menu vanishes. I’ve tried this on IExplorer 8, Google Chrome and Mozilla, and on different pc locations.
