Theme Switcher Causing Problems with Presentation Editor

  • I have the theme switcher installed at my site (https://beautifuldance.net) but if I need to go in to edit any of the themes, I have to deactivate the switcher. If I don’t, when I click on the appropriate file (i.e. sidebar.php) it takes me to the page, not the file.

    This has happened with 1.5, 2.0.3 and 2.0.4. Anyone have any ideas on what the heck is wrong or is this just a bug?

    It’s kind of a pain.

  • Never seen that. Maybe you don’t have the latest version of the plugin?

    I had to switch from Theme Switcher 0.5 (by Ryan Boren) to Theme Switcher 2.0 (by Mr Peer, on 386a.net) to get it working after wp 1.5x. Hated switching, but the latter has nicer controls and didn’t mind the upgrade (though it spat up on WP 2.0.3 LOL).

    I’m using the Mr. Peer version 2.0. I can’t get it to work right in 2.0.3 or 2.0.4

    Are you getting an error? or what is it doing? (or not doing?)

    If the Theme Switcher is activated, it will take me to the site instead of the file I’m trying to edit (ex. sidebar.php)
