[Theme: tanzaku] [Theme: Tanzaku] Excerpts and Images w/o editing 100's of posts

As most of you know, you go to the home page and you see an image that is pulled from the post and the full post on each of the floating boxes.

If you change ‘content’ to ‘excerpt’ in index.php, you’ll get excerpts, but not the images.

If I go though 1000’s of posts and upload or select a “featured image” or enter the “read more” tag, it would do as I wished, but that would take years!

There must be away to edit a bit of code so the theme will bring in the first image and do an excerpt without editing 5 years of posts.
