Theme that displays all comments

  • I am seeking a theme that displays all comments as they are posted – no editing or review by me. Much like this very forum-posting theme. I do not want a reader to have to click on the little, number of comments in order to view them.

    Ideally, 3 column, with the capability to have multiple topics with their corresponding comments displayed one after another.

    As a bonus, does any template contain the “Live Comments” feature as well.

  • Your first question has nothing to do with themes… just with learning the tool you are using. Check all the options in your admin panel and set the comments NOT to be moderated.

    On the other hand, moderation has nothing to do with displaying comments on the single post view (as it is normal in any blogging tool) – or on the main page, what your question seems to be. For answer search… (comments on index or main)

    The rest is plugins.

    I have been playing around with the Andreas04 by Andreas Viklund theme.

    I want to see if I can get all comments to display automatically without having to click to open them.

    I thought I was on the right track while setting things up by doing the following:

    Under “OPTIONS / DISCUSSION, I have unchecked all three options:

    Before a comment appears:

    * An administrator must always approve the comment
    * Comment author must fill out name and e-mail
    * Comment author must have a previously approved
    comment

    Am I misreading how to do this. Will this particular theme allow this automatic display of comments. If this theme will not. Do you have a suggestion of one that will.
