• Hi everyone,

I am in the process of translating a theme (dorsey by minmaldesign).

I want to translate “Posted on” in the post header, but I can only find the “Posted”, not the “on”. Can that be hardcoded in the design? Or do I have to look somewhere else? If not, is there a workaround?

    thanks, geb

If the theme authors provide a valid POT (template) file in their theme you will be able to translate all the strings they have made available.

I can’t comment further because your theme is commercial. If you want to translate a particular string you will have to ask them how to do it, using whatever software they suggest you use.

Hi Tim, thanks for the swift reply!
Sorry to ask again, but: does that mean that I should be looking for the “on” in the Theme, not WordPress?

    Thanks, Geb

I have no idea what you should be looking for, or where. Please ask your theme support about how their theme should be translated.
