  • A link to your site would help so we can see what’s going on.

However, you remove comments in the Dashboard on the same page you access to create/edit your page. Below the editor there’s a panel called ‘Discussion’ with the option to allow or disallow comments.

If you can’t see the ‘Discussion’ panel, click the ‘Screen Options’ tab at the top of the screen and make sure the ‘Discussion’ check box is checked.

Peredur, thank you for your reply.

I can’t put a link to my web-site, because I’m testing my new WP-blog on my pc only in local, before upload everything to my hosting server.

My problem is not to disallow comments, I like and I want comments, but I prefer to see and to show the comments only when I open an article, and not also in the homepage of the blog.

    For example:
    – this is the way I see an article (the comments are only at the bottom):
    https://www.freetravelwebsitetemplates.com/themes/travel-blogger-theme-for-wordpress/

    – this is the way I see the homepage (the comments are on the right of each article):
    https://www.freetravelwebsitetemplates.com/

In this way, the width space for the article is less.

I hope I can explain the problem (my english is not so good).

    Thanks a lot

Looks to me as though this is a feature of your theme. Probably something to do with the ‘featured post’ thing.

They provide support, I see. You might be better off directing your query to them.

Yes, probably you’re right, it can be a feature that is not possible to change.

As i wrote on my first post, I wrote to the autors but they didn’t replied… ??

They appear to tweet a couple of times a month. You could try getting hold of them that way.

You could also post a response on their ‘About Us’ page, saying you tried the contact form (as the page suggests) but haven’t had a response.

    Just a couple of thoughts.

    Cheers

The latest version of the TravelBlogger theme now allows you to hide/show the comment box on the home page blog roll area.
