  • No idea what the code of the theme looks like.

    But i think:

Go to header.php and delete all the code related with the links to Twitter/Facebook etc.

you can remove line 76 from header.php, that will remove all of the social icons. If you just want to remove certain icons, you can edit the function in lib/components.php on line 493. From there you should be able to tweak as needed.

Thanks. Because I have wordpress installed in a subdirectory, I had to change all the social media references to “site_url” to “home_url” otherwise they pointed to the wrong place. This helped me fix that quick! ??

using child theme with travel blogger parent, but so far edits to child/style.css do not override parent.
is there an issue using child theme with travel blogger?
as an example or 1st attempt, trying to remove search bar in sub nav bar, as well as move social icons to rt.
    any suggestions using child theme?

The latest version of the TravelBlogger theme now allows you to hide/show any one or all of the social media items.

How can I add a twitter feed plugin correctly? When I try to add now, the feed shows up,but it’s sitting on top of a twitter widget from the theme.

    Please advise.
