[Theme: Twenty Fourteen] Displaying custom post metadata in post body/header

Hello all,

I’ve created a custom post type for procedural documents on my site, which includes fields for entering custom post metadata (Approval date, document owner, control number, etc.)

I’d like for those custom fields to display in the body of the post automatically, just after the header, so that they will be included when users print off these procedural documents.

Any thoughts on how to achieve this? I’ve set up a plugin (CSS & Javascript Toolbox) which will allow me to apply blocks of code to a specific post type, but I lack the rudimentary coding skills to get the metadata and include it in the body.
