    Hello,

I’ve just installed 3.8.1 and switched to Twenty Fourteen from GamePress.

Everything is great except the grid view, which I’d like to use. The featured image for each post shows up as a small thumbnail (80×80 pixels) instead of taking up the entire space. These posts were created when I was using GamePress as my theme.

    example: https://TheLoneGamers.com

I’ve disabled WP Super Cache plugin and deleted all of the cache. I’ve also gone into those posts and removed the featured image and reuploaded the feature image to no avail. The original images are much larger than 80×80.

    How can I fix this?

Update: I’ve used the plugin Regenerate Thumbnails and it seems to have fixed the issue although I don’t know if that was the “best practice” to fix it.

Actually, yes, this is exactly what I would recommend ?? You need to regenerate thumbnails every time you switch themes, because every theme has it’s own thumbnail sizes that fit the layout.
