Theme: Twenty Fourteen – Ordering featured posts by date

I’ve already tried this twice and no one replies to my thread!

I don’t know what to do really: there are hints at how I might create a query in php for a similar function, but nothing that specifically deals with the query I have…

Frustrating, as I’m sure it is really simple!

By not posting in the correct place you are decreasing the likelihood of someone helping you, if the answer is specific to your theme.

But that’s the point: I have posted in the correct place – twice – I think?

I took a look and couldn’t find this question posted on the right place, could you link the threads here so that I can check?

Also note that you could post in the right place and still not get support. That’s more of a compromise of using a volunteer-driven forum.

Okay… so where I am supposed to post? It’s confusing all this – I clicked on the support tab in the twenty-fourteen theme page, and thought it was going in the right place there…

1. Search for your theme on the repository; https://www.ads-software.com/themes/search.php?q=twenty+fourteen
2. Click on it: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/twentyfourteen
3. Click on the “Support” tab: https://www.ads-software.com/support/theme/twentyfourteen
4. Scroll down right to the bottom to find the place to create a new thread in your theme’s support section

Alternatively check out that link that James posted (above).

Hmmm – bonkers. Will do – hopefully if I explain more about what I’m after, someone might answer…
