• I’d like to basically wipe out any changes I’ve made to the PHP code of my current theme. I really want to start from scratch, square one. I’ve been looking for any default settings so that I can change the information, but I’m not having much luck and the only posts on resetting to default settings are from 2 years ago. The only thing I’ve changed is a bit of code that created categories instead of pages. Does anyone know what I need to do? Any and all information would be amazing. Thanks!

As you were working on the Twenty Ten theme, can you just re-install this theme?

You shouldn’t really be working on these themes and instead you should use Child Themes.

A friend of mine was helping me adjust the code and we didn’t make a child theme before hand. Gulp ?? so I couldn’t find a way to re-install the theme. All that’s available are the customization options such as background, widgets, etc. I’m beginning to wonder if I shouldn’t hit up my host server company, erase and start from scratch, but I’m trying to avoid that at all cost. Is there a codex I can add or anything of the sort hidden somewhere? Thanks for your time!
