[Theme: TwentyTwelve (Child)] My site renders incorrectly in IE8!

  • It just came to my attention that my wesite, using a Twenty Twelve child theme, displays incorrectly in Internet Explorer 8.

    The background is gray, which CSS also appears to be tied to the body’s font colour in the style sheet; the styling applied to the navigation bar is messed up, specifically by the links appearing black on hover and gray when active, and the separators appearing white when styled to match all other separators; and lastly, I recall tweaking some CSS that merged the separator of the body content into the separator of the footer, whch is ignored by Internet Explorer.

    Any ideas of what to do?
