[Theme: Under the Influence] Changing number of excerpts on front page

    I’m using Under the Influence as my theme and am trying to change the number of excerpts displayed on the front page. I’ve always believed this should be one of the first options on a theme’s settings page, but in theme after theme I find that it’s not even an option at all.

    The default is 10 excerpts, but I want to change that to 4. I’ve been digging around the PHP files but cannot find where to change it, so I’m asking for a little help here.

  • I’ve always believed this should be one of the first options on a theme’s settings page

    it isn’t because this is one of the wordpress settings in
    dashboard -> settings -> reading
