theme.vanilla.min.js not loading

    I just changed to this theme because my previous theme wasn’t optimised and therefor very slow. The Ocean theme claims to be very fast and considering my content it should be. But, before testing the new theme I updated it to the latest version, with the new theme.vanilla.min.js. This is slowing down my page speed tremendously. When I check it on GTMetrix I can see it is cancelled, but takes 3.8 seconds. Any help is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

    After checking the directory I discovered the mentioned js isn’t there..

    Disabled and reenabled all the scripts in the theme and it seems to have resolved the problem.

  • thanks for posting this – worked for me! i had the same problem. my full screen mobile menu wouldnt work after upgrading oceanwp but i toggled all scripts off and on and now it works.

    @annejanz @billyqureshi Hey guys, I am trying to help a client that is having the exact same issue – mobile menu won’t load (on homepage only) and theme.vanilla.min.js isn’t loading. How do you ‘toggle all scripts off and on’? Thanks!

    @vincentllora It should be under your settings of the theme. I’ve since changed themes, so I don’t know exactly where. But just find scripts.

    it’s called theme panel or something. there’s a switcher for all css and js.

    @annejanz – thanks! They’ve updated and it is now called Ocean WP Panel and looks totally different. I never experienced the Theme Panel, only this updated version.

    @billyqureshi are you still using the theme, the updated version? If so, do you know where the features have moved to toggle scripts on/off? Thanks!
