Theme Virtue- Contact form not working

    Hi i am using the Virtue theme for my blog. The Contact form that comes with the theme is not working. Im not receiving any messages to my email. So, then, i tried downloading Contact form 7 and it still didnt work. I would prefer using the contact form that comes with my Virtue theme. How can i fix that?

    If contact form 7 didn’t work then the issue isn’t theme related, it’s likely that you email settings have an issue on the server. I would use a plugin like WP mail SMTP to set up a server for the wordpress emails.

    I downloaded WPmailSMTP and even the test-email doesnt work. Who should i ask for help, WordPress or my Host?

    Start with your host, see if they can set up your mail server.

    I have the same problem.
    I have installed wp mail smtp, test mail from plugin arrives, but not via contact form.
    I don’t know where the problem is. Can you help me?

    did you set the email in your misc settings of the theme options?

    thanks, that was the problem. now it’s working ??

    I’m having no luck with test emails and I have checked that the correct email is in the misc settings – what should i try next?

    Start with your host, see if they set up your mail server. You can test if the issue is theme related or not by using the plugin contact form 7.

    In the future it’s best to start a new thread, if it’s been marked as resolved because we can easily miss threads that are resolved.
