Theme won't upload

    I am trying to upload The Furniture Store theme, but it won’t upload. When I am in my admin area I go to themes and install themes. I then browse for the zip file on my computer and click “upload.” I have uploaded themes in the past, but I am having problems with this one. After clicking “upload” I am taken to a “wordpress failure notice” page. That page asks “are you sure you want to do this?” and the only choice it gives me is to “please try again.” When I click on “please try again” I am taken back to the install themes page and I go through the same process all over again.

    Has anyone else encountered this problem? How did you fix it? Did you upload the theme a different way?

    I’ve encountered this problem with some themes, I think it may be some files are not complete because i have downloaded the same themes from other websites and they uploaded fine.
    Try to find the theme to download from another site, it might work.

    I’m having this problem with a theme I bought from Themepress. It doesn’t seem like any of the other folks who purchased the WordPress theme are having any issues with uploading. Any other tips or suggestions? (I don’t have much knowledge about ftp.)

    I also am having a problem with installing a theme I purchased from themeforrest. I am new to this so I thought I was doing something wrong but maybe it is just that particular theme? I sure could use some help too! I know there is a difference between wp.com and wp.org..perhaps I ordered something that is only compatable with wp.com??

    You cannot upload themes to wordpress.com sites – so “compatible/not compatible with wp.com” makes no sense. Also wordpress.com uses exactly the same software as you can download from wordrpess.org.

    If you are having problems with a a commercial theme, we cannot really help. You need to seek support from the theme vendors.
