Theme works in Windows but not on MacBook while using XAMPP

  • I have about fifty different custom themes that I use successfully on a Windows PC. Changed over to a MacBook Pro and there are several themes that won’t display. Even choosing to preview the theme with via the admin dashboard shows a broken theme. Activating the theme seems to indicate that the header.php file is being invoked, as header items display, but no other part of the theme. No error message. No nothing.

    This is occurring on my laptop as I use XAMPP as an apache server on my laptop.

    I have double verified that I copied the contents of them theme directory properly to the MacBook. My hunch is there is some file permission error, but I can’t figure out what it is.

    Any help appreciated.
