[Theme: WPFolio Two Child] How to change link hover color on posts and pages?

I’ve read through a lot of forums here and just about tried every code adjustment on my style.css sheet but I cant find how to change the hover color of my links on both my posts and pages? As a last resort, I tried to change the link color by manually highlighting it and selecting a color in the edit posts/pages panel which works, but when published the link color has no hover effect it just stays one color like so:

I would like my link hover color to be #E8E8E8. Does anybody know what code I need? and exactly where should I add the code in my style.css?

ps: I have tried to find a:link, a:visited, a:hover, a:active in my style.css but cannot find anything..
