Do you have a section of the dashboard named, “Custom CSS”, “Edit CSS” or “Custom CSS Manager”, or are you using a Child Theme?

I’m not totally sure what you mean by a child theme – but no I don’t have a section called that – but I can edit the CSS in the theme, I just don’t know which part it is!

Install this Custom CSS Manager plugin to hold your CSS modifications and use its section of the dashboard to hold this:

#logo img {
 float: left;
}

is there any way to make the footer stay at the bottom of the page rather than floating about?

Ok I think I get it – but seeing as wordpress splits header/footer/main page etc im struggling to see where of each of the divs would start and finish?

Can you see your HTML structure of your webpage? Right click on the webpage and select ‘View source’.

You don’t just have, “<div id="footer">“, you have this:

<div id="foot_wrap">
 <div id="footer_wrap">
  <div id="footer">

You need to be applying the styles from the tutorial on "<div id="foot_wrap">“.

Did you add this bit:

   margin:0;
   padding:0;
   height:100%;
}

?
