themed categories alternative

Hello:
I want to load different themes per category. There is a plugin called themed categories, but I think it doesn’t work on WP 3.0 and the download link is broken. (https://download.mikelopez.info/2006/10/17/wordpress-themed-categories-plugin/)
Do you know any alternative for this one?
