You should make a theme that looks like your site. That’s one options.
The other would be (if you don’t use the menu, links etc.) to place the Loop in a file of your site. In this case it needs a call to the blog-header and should be a php file.

Aha! I don’t know php coding. ?? Is that necessary for building a theme? How does one go about that? I don’t understand a thing after “lace the Loop in a file of your site. You don’t need to know any PHP coding. I don’t know either ??
A WP template file is still like a usual html file – just having little code strings among the html code; those are the template tags that make the WP to work ??

Ah, ok. I looked at the first link you gave and realized I had to already have a style sheet. I don’t. I not only handcode, I am still using dark ages html code!

Sigh. But I shall follow up on these leads.

?? I also handcode… but in two different files: one is the html and the other is the style.css
